Why doesn't mobile phone tools detect my phone?


I just got mobile phone tools and connected my AT&T Motorola Razr and it doesn't seem to get recognized and I can't transfer my songs from my computer to my phone.

I have the same problem but first you need to go to the phone that pops up on your monitor.
hit the menu button on the monitor cell
go to set up tab
click on up date
it works sometimes
but also changing the usb cable worked for me for awhile
personally i gave up so i use my wifes Rzor then just transfer my media via bluetooth
I'm not familliar with the RAZR, but my Motorola has a mini USB port and to get it to work with my computer, I have to physically connect it to my phone.
U MIGHT HAVE 2 UNINSTALL MPT AND RE-ISTALL IT AND U MIGHT HAVE A BAD USB CABLE TRY THAT HOPE THAT HELPS.
